Learn
Tutorials
Learn by building real apps, one step at a time. Start by drawing a window without code, then add Python, data, shaders, games, a backend, and ship it.
Every tutorial ends with a program you can run, and its full source is in the
examples folder of the repository. Each one says what
you will build, how long it takes, what you need to know first and what you will learn.

Intermediate
Section titled “Intermediate”Real data, several screens and your own reusable pieces.
Advanced
Section titled “Advanced”Whole applications, games and shipping them.
Running the examples
Section titled “Running the examples”Clone the repository (or download it as a zip) and run any example from its folder with the tool you use. uv
creates the environment for you; with pip, create and activate a virtual environment first. Every tutorial has
a block like this one with its own file:
uv run --with pyzed-ui python examples/todo.pypython3 -m venv .venvsource .venv/bin/activatepython -m pip install pyzed-uipython examples/todo.pypy -m venv .venv.venv\Scripts\Activate.ps1python -m pip install pyzed-uipython examples\todo.pypython3 examples/todo.pypy examples\todo.pyForms made with the designer (.pzform) run with pyzed run instead of python:
uv run --with pyzed-ui pyzed run examples/tutorial/designer/hello.pzformpython3 -m venv .venvsource .venv/bin/activatepython -m pip install pyzed-uipyzed run examples/tutorial/designer/hello.pzformpy -m venv .venv.venv\Scripts\Activate.ps1python -m pip install pyzed-uipyzed run examples\tutorial\designer\hello.pzformpython3 -m pyzed run examples/tutorial/designer/hello.pzformpy -m pyzed run examples\tutorial\designer\hello.pzform
